Ag Day Field Trip
Join the Agronomy Club on Monday, March 13th for their annual kick-off event for the year. This year they are taking a trip down to NDSU to tour the Plant Science department learning about the process of making biofuels and pasta from Durum wheat. We are also touring the livestock research barns at NDSU. Lunch and transportation will be provided. Parents are welcome to come along as chaperones, please let the office know if you are interested. This is for youth currently in 6th grade through 12th grade. We will be leaving from the Mahnomen Area Service center at 9am and return around 4pm. Registration is required through 4-H Online by March 9th. Cost is $5 to attend and free to current Agronomy Club members. Youth will also learn more about the Agronomy club and what they have to offer for spring, summer and fall learning opportunities. Ogema's favorite gym teacher, Mr. Kemper, celebrated his half birthday. We dressed up like him (many not pictured) to show our appreciation for the fun memories he creates with the kids! Thanks Mr. Kemper for all you do!!

Scan the QR code to pre-registration for Waubun-Ogema-White Earth Kick-Start for the 2023/2024 school year. Kick-Start is a School Readiness preschool program located in the Ogema Elementary School. Kick-Start is for children who will be entering Kindergarten the fall of 2024. Your child must be 4 years of age by September 1, 2023 to attend Kick-Start. There are three classrooms of Kick-Start, with an all day, five days a week schedule. A paper copy is also available in the District Newsletter.
