School Bus Driver Appreciation Day Governor Tim Walz has proclaimed Feb. 26, 2020, as School Bus Driver Appreciation Day. Minnesota school bus drivers safely transport more than 760,000 students to and from school each day. Thank you school bus drivers for the positive contributions you make to our students’ education and safety! The WOWE community wants to send a special thank you to all of our bus drivers!!!

Volunteers are needed for a mass casualty training being held at Mahnomen High School Saturday 2/22 starting at 7AM. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, this coincides with area emergency agencies. Jr High Basketball today - Red Lake has double booked their gyms, so they will be coming to Mahnomen for the game today. Also, they are a little low on numbers, so we will be playing a modified schedule. 7th grade will begin at 4:30, 8th grade will likely start earlier than normal - approximately 5pm is a good guess.
