These 4th graders worked really hard during the 1st quarter and met their reading goal!! Today, we celebrated with a caramel apple buffet! Keep up the great work!!

The fourth graders did a marvelous job of honoring the Veterans at the program. Thank you to all Veterans and their families for their bravery and sacrifice! Happy Veterans Day!

Attention Parents/Guardians of Seniors:
Waubun will be hosting a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) help night. We would like to invite you and your student to attend this night to obtain any help you may need filling out the FAFSA for the first time (or even if you have done it before as it is always changing)! FAFSA night will be held the evening of conferences, November 13th, from 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm. We will be meeting in the media center computer lab. There will be an expert from a local college’s financial aid office available to answer any questions you might have. I highly recommend that both you and your student attend together.
The FAFSA is something that most colleges require students to fill out each year in order to obtain loans to attend school. The FAFSA is completely online so it will require a computer and internet access. Both you and your student will also need to create a username by going onto www.fafsa.ed.gov. Write this information down and bring it along with your filed tax information. It is also best if you student has a solid idea of which school they are planning on attending next year.
You do not need to attend this night to fill out the FAFSA. You can do this completely on your own if you wish.

The best places to park for the State FB games will be in the yellow highlighted lots on the attached map. Additional parking can be found along the East side (stadium side) of East River Rd. between the two highlighted parking areas, too.
The parking areas highlighted in RED, are near the HS, but actually quite a distance from the field. Plus, what the map doesn't show is a SIGNIFICANT change in elevation from parking at/near the high school in the RED lots vs. the field level parking in the YELLOW lots and along the River Rd. This makes it especially challenging for some grandparents!
